Seminars and Other Events

May 9th and May 16th (2009)
Living the Abundant Life© Seminar
Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church, Carrollton, Texas (Dallas metroplex)

The host church invited us to present the full seminar in two morning sessions on separate Saturdays. Feedback was positive and attendees especially appreciated the focus on faith, as the "energizing principle" behind a stewardship lifestyle. One attendee wrote:

"I was very impressed... [with] the upfront and to the point discussion of what God's Word has to say about our relationship with money. This set the tone for the financial principles to come. Team teaching worked well. Your personal testimony was priceless. 'Investing in your debt' is something I have done, but never thought of it as an investment... a valuable concept in today's society where 'get rich quick' is the order of the day."

Another comment: "It has changed my attitude toward stewardship, money, taxes & financial planning. Very comprehensive and well-supported by Scripture."

Sermon Series: "SAVING STEWARDSHIP"
Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church, Carrollton, Texas
January 11 through March 29 (2009)
Note: This was an excellent series of messages, given by Pastor Mark Mohrweis, providing a balanced Biblical perspective on stewardship as a lifestyle and a joy, rather than a burden placed on Christians at budget-voting time or wrongly mixed in with capital campaign efforts.
