Priorities: Lifestyle Stewardship

PRIORITIES was designed by ordinary church members, for other ordinary church members, to help and encourage them in their daily Christian walk.

PRIORITIES is a thought-provoking course on the application of Bible truths to contemporary dilemmas: Who am I? Where am I going? What is my purpose in life? Instead of offering a "canned" formula for victorious living, this course enables individuals to discover the unique purpose God has for them.

PRIORITIES can be presented by the Board of Elders and/or the Board of Stewardship in four Sundays with opportunity for commitment responses on the final Sunday. The kit includes a complete calendar (customized to your congregation) which will give your leadership step-by-step instructions in promotion and followup. Also provided are the masters for class worksheets, publicity pieces, and commitment forms, along with suggested sermon outlines.

PRIORITIES includes lesson materials for Adult and High School groups. It is recommended that each confirmed member of your congregation take this course during your stewardship emphasis. The generation which will take future leadership in your church needs to learn these principles now.

The PRIORITIES Program was designed so that a team of four to eight people, with access to a copier machine, can present a dynamic, positive, and effective four-week stewardship emphasis at low cost.** When you order the PRIORITIES Program Kit, you will receive:

Customized Schedule - based on your target date for gathering commitments, you will receive a computer-generated calendar showing when to start each phase of the Priorities Program. This helps you coordinate events with your church office and Christian Education department. Lesson Materials - Speaker's notes for 4 sessions of adult Sunday school, with accompanying masters for copying the handouts.
Youth Lessons - (optional) Teacher's notes and masters for the worksheets for 4 classes aimed at senior high students.
Leadership Development Plan - two formats (short presentation or special meeting) which prepare your church leaders for the Priorities Program through consensus-building and inspiration. Bible Study Materials - if your church has an active small group ministry, this study, with Leader's Guide and Worksheets, is an excellent supplement to the Sunday school lessons.
Publicity Pieces - 3 articles suitable for publication in your church newsletter, including the summary report on commitments received. Direct Mail Pieces - four letters which introduce your members to the program, reiterate themes of the lessons, and explain the importance of commitments – along with a valuable survey, and your "thank you" note to participants. (These may be e-mailed to you for use with your mail-merge program.)
